Funding
The Cancer Institute NSW, the
NSW Ministry of Health and Member organisations contribute
funds to the operation of the CHeReL. The Cancer Institute NSW and
the NSW Ministry of Health also make substantial in-kind
contributions to the CHeReL: the Cancer Institute NSW employs the
CHeReL staff, provides a secure environment for the operation of
the CHeReL and provides specified IT and Human Resources support;
while the NSW Ministry of Health provides access to its record
linkage software license and epidemiologic advice.
Member organisations enter into a
funding agreement with the CHeReL whereby the Member organisation
pays an annual fee and investigators from the organisation are
entitled to discounted linkage services.
